How much do you value yourself?  How do you know how to value yourself?  Is your value based on what you do or who you are?

Our value isn’t based on what we do or what people say about us.  Our value comes from what God thinks of us and how much he loves us. 

This is how much God values us:

Christ’s love is greater than any person can ever know. But I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God.^{Ephesians 3:19}

Your value does not depend on what other people think of you or what you have achieved.  Your value comes from God.  This means that you can have confidence to achieve and succeed.  You just need to believe in yourself like God believes in you!

Dear Lord

Thank you so much for how much you love us.  Thank you that your love is unconditional and has nothing to do with how good or clever we are.  Help us to recognise how much you value us so that we can live with confidence and care for each other.  Amen
