Are you a curious person? What does it mean to be curious, and why is being curious a good idea?

Our ALIVE value this week is, ‘We are questioning’ – this means that we are curious!

This is a quote from the Bible about being curious:

The wise are honoured for what they can discover.^{Proverbs 25:2}

Curious people are more likely to discover new things. This can make others respect you more.

Being curious just means asking more questions and then listening to the answers. Challenge yourself to find out at least 3 new things about some of your friends this week! You might be surprised!

Prayer

Creator God, thank you for our brains that are so full of questions. Help us to be curious so that we can learn more about other people as well as the world that you made. We thank you for all the new things that we will find out! Amen
