Holy Week

Weekly Worship from Mrs Duzniak.

What does Easter mean to you?

Discuss with the person next to you and make a list.

Here is a short video with lots of people saying what Easter means to each of them – see if they mention any of the things you said!

Easter is all about transformation, change and renewal.  For me, it is a story of hope in Jesus which brings about transformation in our lives.

‘But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.  They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired.Isaiah 40:31

What are you hoping for in your life at the moment?  Is it to get good grades?  Or improved mental health and wellbeing?  Or maybe restoration in a relationship?

This Easter time, as you think about the story of Jesus, allow yourself to hope and believe in transformation for your life.

Prayer:

Dear Lord

Thank you so much for sacrificing everything because you love me.  Thank you that by hoping in you, I can believe that there will be transformation in my life.  Help me to see you working and be thankful for every little miracle.  Help us all to have a great Easter break and come back to school refreshed.  We pray for harmony in our families and safety over the holiday.  Amen
