We engage with parents and carers in a variety of ways. We have an active PTA group of parents and carers (the Friends of SMRT).  This is a great place to meet other parents and carers and get involved in the life of the school.  The group meets termly and often have members of the school leadership team attending to present a school report or to discuss particular school initiatives. 

There are other forums for groups of parents. There are regular SEND parent/carer events as well as coffee mornings for parents and carers who may be experiencing financial hardship or need support in other ways.
