Chances are that the answer is…somewhere in the middle.

They say a tidy room means you have a tidy mind.  But some people find it much easier to be tidy and organised than others.

Have a class discussion about who thinks they are tidy and organised and who thinks they are not.

Can you make a list of hints/tip or ways to be organised?  Whether at home or with your schoolwork.

Now tell someone what you will do…because that means you are more likely to do it!

Jesus talked about the importance of being organised and planning ahead.  Here is what he said:

If one of you is planning to build a tower, you sit down first and figure out what it will cost, to see if you have enough money to finish the job. If you don't, you will not be able to finish the tower after laying the foundation; and all who see what happened will make fun of you. ‘You began to build but can't finish the job!’ they will say.^{Luke 14:28-30}

So being organised is a good idea for lots of reasons!

Prayer

Dear Lord,
We thank you for our creative abilities.  We know that to do well and be successful we need to be organised and plan ahead.  Help us to think about how we can improve our own organisation, recognising the benefits this will have for our lives.  Help us to help each other to be more organised and disciplined when sometimes we want to give up.
