We've made it!

Another school year is almost over. There have been early mornings, tests, homework, trips, sports days, performances, laughs with friends, moments that felt easy, and moments that definitely didn't.

Today isn't about looking ahead just yet! It's about taking a moment to celebrate the journey we've been on together.

If you had to describe this school year in one word, what would it be? Why?

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.^{Psalm 118:24}

This verse speaks of that every day is a gift from God, and that taking time to celebrate, give thanks, and find joy is an important part of life.

When we think about celebrations, we often wait until something huge happens—a birthday, winning a competition, or achieving a big goal.

But there are lots of smaller victories worth celebrating too.

Maybe you made a new friend. Maybe you became more confident. Maybe you kept going when something was difficult. Maybe you discovered a new talent. Maybe you simply made someone else's day a little brighter.

Not every success comes with a certificate or a trophy. Sometimes the biggest achievements are the ones no one else sees. So, before everyone rushes into the holidays, take a moment to notice just how much has happened this year.

You've grown. You've learned. You've laughed. You've helped others. You've overcome challenges.

That's worth celebrating.

Let's take a moment of quiet to reflect on what is worth celebrating from this past year. As we think about the memories, achievements, friendships, and moments that have shaped us, let's then join together in this prayer.

Loving God,
Thank You for every moment that has made this school year special.
Thank You for the fun, the friendships, the laughter, the learning, and even the challenges that have helped us grow.
As we head into the summer, help us to rest well, enjoy time with those we love, and return ready for new adventures.
May we never forget to celebrate the good things, encourage one another, and be thankful for all we have.
