Why do you think it is important to have Culture Day at SMRT?

Heaven is going to be like our Culture Day. This is what the Bible says in Revelation:

‘After this I looked, and there was an enormous crowd—no one could count all the people! They were from every race, tribe, nation, and language, and they stood in front of the throne……They called out in a loud voice: “Salvation comes from our God, who sits on the throne…..All the angels stood around the throne… and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honour, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!’

In heaven there will be people from everywhere. We are not all the same, we are all different and celebrating this is a taste of heaven!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you that we are all different.  You have made us all unique and precious.  Help us to value the differences in others. Thank you that we can celebrate all the different cultures in our school.  Thank you for all the diversity everyone brings to our community.  Amen
