Open Evenings

We have two open evenings for the Sixth Form Centre coming up on Thursday 17 October 2024 and Wednesday 6 November 2024. 

These evening events are for prospective year 12 students and their parents/carers who are considering applying for a place to study with us in 2025-26. The evenings will take place across both the Sixth Form and Main School sites, the latter being where practical subjects are taught.

This will be an opportunity for you to visit specific departments and talk to subject teachers about choices, courses, options and facilities. Doors for subject rooms at both the Main School building and Sixth Form building will open on both evenings at 4.30pm and will end at 6.30pm. 

As part of the event, there will also be an optional talk which will involve a warm welcome from the Headteacher, the Head of Sixth Form, and some of our current students about their Sixth Form experience.  This talk will be delivered three times, firstly at 4pm, then at 5pm and finally at 6pm. Please note the first talk at 4pm will start 30 minutes before doors open for subject rooms, and if you sign up for the 6pm talk and would like to visit subject rooms you will need to arrive with enough time to do that before 6pm. 

Admittance to a talk will be ticket only, which can be booked via the links below. When booking you should indicate the number of people you are reserving spaces for. Please do not book more spaces than you really need so that all who want to come can fit in. 

If you do not want to attend a talk you do not have to book a place, you can go straight to subject rooms.

The talks will be in the hall on our main school site at Somerset Square.

There will be limited parking available in our Main School Car Park and visitors are advised to use other local parking. Parking is extensively detailed on the Contact Us page.
