Variation to Admissions Policies July 2021

In preparation for the introduction of the new Admissions Code in September 2021, schools which are their own Admissions Authorities have been required to put specific variations in place to previously determined Policies for 2021/22 and 2022/23. These relate to the definition of ‘Home’, the definition of Looked-After and Previously Looked After Children (whether in England or elsewhere) and how distance is measured.

Additionally, for those applying to the Main School on a faith basis. In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the Church, or, in relation to those of other faiths, relevant Place of Worship, has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these admissions arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the Church or, in relation to those of other faiths, relevant Place of Worship or alternative premises have been available for public worship.

You can view these changes to Policies for 2021/22 and 2022/23 by following the relevant link below:

These variations were determined for use by the Governing Body in July 2021.
