We will start with the Bible Reading today:

There is no division in the body, but all its different parts have the same concern for one another. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share its happiness.
All of you are Christ's body, and each one is a part of it.’

1 Corinthians 12:25-27

Today, you have the challenge of making a paper plane. You are allowed 1 sheet of paper only! Here is a picture to help you but you do not need to follow it – be creative.

Who made the best planes? They are your plane experts!

Why was their plane the best? How did they make it? Ask them to tell you all the secrets of making a brilliant paper plane.

If you have time…and enough paper, have another go – using the hints and tips from your plane experts – who may even help you!

Working together is fun and also really beneficial. The theme for this week is I am Interdependent. Making a plane with the help of each other is a real example of this. Well done on being interdependent this morning.

Lord, thank you that you call us to be a community of people who work together. We all have so many different skills, help us to use our skills wisely to help each other. In Jesus name, Amen

Your tutor group is a little bit like a small community of your own.  In a community there are people with different strengths and skills.  To help us all become more interdependent, think about how you can use the strengths of people in your tutor group to help you.  For example, who is the best at Maths or English or any other subject? Could they help you with your homework?  Are you looking for Work Experience?  Is there someone in your class that has a family member who does what you want to do?  Could they help you?
